  • Art of Divination with the Oracle Divination Board with Isis Indriya

Art of Divination with the Oracle Divination Board with Isis Indriya

    (10/27, 1-2:30pm pacific time)
Divination is an ancient practice of receiving information by interpreting omens, signs, symbols, and images through the use of various technologies.. This artform is also a medium to communicate with the Divine and thus bring forward messages that can help the querent(s) gain insight into a question(s) or situation(s). As traditionally known to be a practice of foresight, the focus of this technology is to bring into awareness the internal workings of the Cosmos that has and continues to be a useful way to receive guidance for one’s Path moving forward. In this session we will be working with an Oracle Divination Board that is a cosmological map of the Universe carrying planetary, astrological, elemental, cyclical, and archetypal symbols.

All that is needed to prepare for this is a glass of water, a journal & writing utensil, & genuine inquiries for the board. We will collectively be distilling the inquiries into 3 primary focuses for the live reading. It is suggested to take notes as the board often offers a variety of ways to apply the transmissions into a Sacred way of life.

  • A QUEER LIGHT: The Art of Alchemy with Eliza Swann

A QUEER LIGHT: The Art of Alchemy with Eliza Swann

    (10/30, 7-8:30pm pacific time)
What is the space between nothing and something, what impulse whisks things in and out of being, what is the space between zero and one? During this talk we'll look at some of the foundations of alchemical magic, as well as deities, myths and symbols that urge us to dissolve and re-create the self. We'll look in particular at some trans and gender non-conforming deities, alchemists, and myths that populate the European tradition of alchemy. We'll close with an alchemical invocation of Mercury to help us amplify our voices and embrace our multiplicity. This invocation is helpful for both self acceptance and engaging in community organizing and activism. This talk is designed to welcome everyone into a discipline that often seems inscrutable and outdated - all people of any level of interest or experience with alchemy are encouraged to join.
